Parent V4 Shoes To DAZ’s Genesis Figure

This is an instructional video I did for some members at the older DAZ 3D forum when DAZ Studio 4 was released to the public. Many of the members were lamenting the fact that the new Auto-Fit Tool for the Genesis figure that comes bundled with DAZ Studio 4 did not include an auto-fit option for shoes; such as high-heels and pumps.

The only option at the time was to parent generation 4 shoes to the new Genesis figure and many were not understanding the written instructions given.

Please note that I don’t have much of a voice when it comes to a microphone. Also, I am a very private person, so I used a pimple-faced teen voice using my voice changer on this video, and being my first instructional video I was nervous and misspoke a lot.

One thing I didn’t get into in the video is that you can hide toes and, depending on the shoe, the foot itself if you are having a tough time getting rid of poke throughs.

Twice now I placed the video in private on Youtube, and twice I received emails asking where the video is and can I please make it public again. It’s strange that at this time the video continues to be asked for as DAZ 3D now offers shoes for the Genesis figure.
